At the intersection of Community Engagement and Collective Impact
ERCC is now accepting proposals for Workshop and Poster Sessions; due date for all proposals is April 7, 2015
As a vital agent of social change, higher education is integral to creating vibrant, healthy communities in out town, cities, regions and our nation. This conference will highlight emerging theory and practice in place-based collective impact initiatives. It provides a forum to showcase the strategic engagement of faculty, students, and the witder higher education community by emphasizing engaged scholarship, cross-sector partnerships and student research.
The goals of this conference are:
- Demonstrate both innovation and broader impact as outcomes of community
- Highlight best practives in place-based, issues-driven faculty/student engaged scholarship
- Advance our understanding of the intersection between community engagement and collective
- Offer a strong array of pre-conference workshops that advance community engaged practice in higher education
